William Goff Miller, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Huntington, IN. He was 85 years old.

Miller was born on Aug. 24, 1936, in Garrett, KY, the son of Alfred Miller and Belle (Napier) Miller. He received his GED and proudly enlisted in the United States Army. He married the love of his life Mary L. Heffelfinger on July 21, 1961, in Huntington, IN.

He was the owner of Miller Machine & Cylinder Repair for 26 years before retiring in 2010. He served his community as an officer of the Huntington Reserve Police Force for 20 years. He was a member of the Amity Lodge #483 of Huntington, IN. Miller liked to hunt, play softball, go to auctions, and enjoyed trap shooting. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband. His true love was his family and spending time with each of them.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary L. Miller; daughter, Kimberly J. Cardin of Huntington; son, William T. Miller of Huntington; sister, Opsie Callis of MI; brother, Lee Miller of OH; three grandsons, Tyson Miller, Brock Eckert, Tyler Miller; granddaughter, Morgan Miller; two great- grandsons, Demetre Eckert, Gunner Miller.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Miller, mother, Belle Miller, sisters, Geneva Johnson, Garnet Stephens, Charlotte Stephens, and brothers, Art Miller, Bill Miller, Arnold Miller.

Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, 46750. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Brunk Conley officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren. Military Honors will be rendered by the VFW Post 2689 Honor Guard.
